- POSITION SUMMARY Line cook is responsible for prepping and executing a daily menu. Must be able to read and understand recipes. Duties include preparing food and maintaining sanitation standards. Have basic knowledge of; knife skills, stock making, food safety principles, searing, sauteing, grilling, frying, poaching, and roasting. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
