Career Description
A graphic designer is responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, websites, and other materials. Graphic designers collaborate with clients or creative directors to determine the scope of a project, use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs, create visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations, and present design concepts to clients or art directors. They also incorporate changes recommended by clients or art directors into the final design.
